What We Do
Community Links (South Lanarkshire) currently carry out community development, consultation and engagement activities for adults, children and young people in the local community. We also provide services in marketing, environment, community safety, food poverty, and employment support.
Established in 2002 as an independent charitable organisation, challenged to tackle poverty in local communities, with a particular emphasis on areas that fall into the 15% priority datazones as identified by the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD).
We deliver innovative, independent and effective community consultation and engagement services to partner agencies and service providers to involve local members of the community in local decisions. No other voluntary sector organisation in our local areas offers similar services.
Community Links is a value-based organisation and these values are reflected in how we conduct our work and how we interact with the communities we serve.
