At Community Links we take pride in our environment and would encourage local people to use the open spaces just on their doorstep to promote health and wellbeing.  Whether it's for walking or a family day out we endeavour to promote easy access to our green spaces.

Pride of Place is an environmental improvement programme which is funded by the Tackling Poverty Fund covering regeneration areas within Blantyre, Cambuslang, Hamilton, Larkhall and Rutherglen.  Community Links are one of the referral agencies for the project and welcome applications from local groups that could benefit from the services offered by the Pride of Place project.  Pride of Place can fund various small scale environmental projects such as, community led clean ups, development of sensory gardens and school based projects.  If you would like to receive an application pack or require further information relating to the project please contact Community Links on  (01698) 827583 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
