David Livingstone
David Livingstone - Community Links were commissioned in September 2010 by South Lanarkshire Council Changing Places and the David Livingstone Centre to conduct an evaluation that collected local public opinions, perceptions, experiences and memories of the David Livingstone Centre in Blantyre. The overall purpose of such evaluation research was to identify opportunities for future development of the site which would encourage greater support, involvement, use and interest from local individuals and those further a field.

Second Hand Smoking - A Consultation on Smoke Free Homes
Second Hand Smoking - A Consultation on Smoke Free Homes - Community Links were commisioned in May 2010 to assist NHS Lanarkshire to gather relevant information from local communities which would be used to inform appropriate intervention and Social Marketing Campaign that would contribute to local NHS action plan outcomes on reducing children's exposure to second hand smoke.

Larkhall Allotments phase II
Community Links were commissioned in September 2010 by Changing Places to Conduct a second phase evaluation that would collect current local public views, opinions and levels of support for the proposed development of a community allotment garden site in the Hareleeshill area of Larkhall. Initial consultation was conducted by Community Links in February 2010.

Community Links were commissioned by NHS Lanarkshire (Communications) as part of their SLA with Hamilton PPF to carry out a brief consultation with local communities and stakeholders to identify key issues and topics that should be included in public information material for the opening of Caird House.

School Meals - Calderside Academy Study (Phase I)
Community Links were commissioned by Changing Places (Blantyre / Hamilton) in February 2010 to conduct a short study into the eating habits of local children attending Calderside Academy. The amalgamation of the former Earnock and Blantyre High Schools into the new Public Private Partnership (PPP) school that is Calderside Academy has seen the local Blantyre area become host to over 1300 pupils on a daily basis, many of whom are visiting local food outlets and shops at lunchtime.
Although this provides a welcome boost for the local economy, concerns have been raised regarding the nutritional value of many of the food choices that young people are making and the number of unhealthy options available in the surrounding community.
Just Ask - Youth Sexual Health Service Evaluation
Community Links were commissioned in November 2009 to conduct an evaluation which would gather views, opinions and perceptions of young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years residing in the Larkhall and surrounding areas with regards to sexual health services, usage of such services and their promotion / development.

Employability Consultation Phase II
Community Links and Create Ltd were re-commissioned in September 2009 - following an earlier research project on Employability Services - by Changing Places (South Lanarkshire) and South lanarkshire Council (Enterprise Resources) to conduct further research that would collect additional local public opinions, perceptions, experience and knowledge of employment services available in the South Lanarkshire area. Research in this instance would target a higher number of unemployed males between the ages of 16 and 29 years and further research common barriers to employment which may exist in the area.

Transport Survey (205 Bus)
Community Links were commissioned in January 2009 by Changing places (South Lanarkshire) to conduct research on local public opinions, perceptions and usage trends from residents, particularly those from the Whitehill area, concerning the 205 Irvine's bus service that operates between Hamilton and East kilbride. 412 individuals took part in the survey.

Community Links were commissioned in September 2007 by Up For It? Lifestyles to analyse data collected through an evaluation survey issued by the company to their clients. The purpose of this survey was to evaluate client satisfaction levels and identify additional physical activities in which individuals would be interested.
Redlees Initial Public Consultation
Community Links were commissioned in July 2007 by South Lanarkshire Council's (SLC) Countryside and Greenspace to conduct an evaluation that collected local public opinions, perceptions, experiences and memories of the Redlees site situated just off Blantyre Farm Road. The area - which is the focus of a regeneration project to improve the area for people and wildlife - lies between Blantyre Farm Road, the Hamilton Branch railway and the Rotten Calder Water.

Strathclyde Police Community Safety Survey
Community Links was commissioned in October 2006 by Changing Place (Blantyre &Hamilton), on behalf of the local Regeneration Partnership Board, and Strathclyde Police to conduct an evaluation that would collect local public perceptions and opinions on the Better Blantyre Policing Initiative and local neighbourhood crime. This survey is part of an evaluation of the Better Blantyre Police Initiative.

Dog Fouling Consultation
This study was commissioned following Changing Places Blantyre / Hamilton (formerly known as Blantyre / North Hamilton SIP), Open Minds Events of 2004 / 2005, when the individual areas of Blantyre, Burnbank, Fairhill, Hillhouse and Whitehill identified dog-fouling as an issue to be addressed. As part of the community engagement process Community Links initially carried out quantitative data collection through a brief questionnaire, included in issue 18 of the Community Matters newspaper. This questionnaire generated 91 returns.

2005
Up for It? Lifestyles Rural Employment Survey
Community Links were commissioned by “Up for It?” Lifestyles in March 2005 to carry out an evaluation to ascertain what effects - if any - the project had on clients’ employment status and to identify possible routes to partnership working in relation to both working and learning sectors within the community. The evaluation consisted of a telephone survey, which was conducted using an approved questionnaire.

As the above list shows, we are successfully carrying out substantial consultation on a regular basis for a wide list of partners. We tailor our methods to each individual project and our staff and volunteers are fully trained on a range of consultation and evaluation methods. We also have a fantastic list of resources including SNAP survey software and PP vote technology at our disposal.
