Community Links do not have any paid vacancies at this time however we have several voluntary opportunities.
Market Research – Street and door canvassers, focus group facilitators and analysis assistants.
Communications – Editing, monitoring and article development for Community Matters Newspaper and Community Links website.
Administration - General office duties including project support and data entry
Sessional Workers – required on an ad hoc basis for various consultation duties including questionnaire completion and data entry. These positions would be suitable for individuals with an outgoing personality and good IT skills.
Focus group participants – required for future consultations which may involve topics such as health and wellbeing, community safety and the local environment. All focus groups will be strictly confidential and all individuals will receive appropriate participation bonuses. Involvement will normally be limited to one hour per focus group.
Board of Directors
Community Links are currently looking to create a reserve list of potential Board Members to fill any future vacancies, which may occur from time to time. The positions are unpaid, but do attract expenses. Attendance at meetings during the year is approximately eight, but can vary due to initiatives in strategic planning and other areas of particular interest to the individual member of the board. We are now looking for new board members who can help us expand the range of skills around the table. Specifically, we would like to hear from people with skills and expertise in any of the following areas: Strategic ICT & Digital Media; PR & Marketing; Strategic Finance & Funding.
