Community Links is an independent community engagement organisation operating in South Lanarkshire.
Our main focus is supporting residents in becoming involved in their areas through volunteering, participating in local decision making processes, telling us their views on local issues and developments; and getting involved in the delivery of local projects. With a small staff team, we rely heavily on our volunteers, some of whom deliver many of the services associated with the projects.
Although Community Links retains its focus on regeneration issues and volunteering, we also provide a range of tailor made consultancy and ICT services to the private, public and voluntary sector. Our portfolio of clients include South Lanarkshire Council, NHS Lanarkshire and Salus Occupational Health and Safety. to name a few. To find out more about our clients and see examples of our work, visit our Survey and Consultation page.
We are well recognised in Community Regeneration Structures both locally, regionally and nationally and our consultation and engagement methods continue to be identified as examples of best practice. This recognition has brought about commendations from various bodies including: Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum (SURF), British Urban Regeneration Association (BURA) and Scottish Government – Regeneration Division.
